Performance

2021 !No Rona!

A one-day 20-mile bike ride performance, sponsored by the State of California’s “ Your actions save lives campaign”, promotes the use of facial coverings, hand sanitizing, physical distancing, and vaccination in disproportionately impacted communities throughout Los Angeles. Artist interviews and segments of the moving performance were broadcasted on Telemundo and Univision.

This docuseries was sponsored by Guinness, and premiered on Viceland. Director Raul Baltazar demonstrates how sculptures, video, and performance art bridge indigenous and western cultures, teaching younger generations to be inspired by and preserve these sacred practices.

2023  Bus Bench Mural

The Omnitrans Public Transit Agency hired ten artists to paint bus benches along high-traffic routes to promote the new ConnecTransit Plan throughout San Bernardino County.

Painted two murals that draw inspiration from Oaxaca’s renowned Alebrijes at Tu Look 11 Spa and the Guadalupe de Etla Cultural Center.

Participated in a short-term residency, exploring cardboard, vinyl, and wood to create an interactive public sculpture with benches for shopping mall visitors to enjoy.
